I met with several people this week who may be interested in applying for my position on the Law Review Editorial Board, and I’m meeting with a few more next week. It’s been great getting to know some of these people, but it also eats up a lot of my free time. And it’s going to stay this way both next week and the week after (when we do interviews and then have the selection meeting).
I was supposed to meet with my first client for my Law & Aging class, but the client had to reschedule. So, now I’ll be meeting with two clients next week. I’m both excited and nervous about it (mostly excited).
We celebrated having only 100 days left til graduation on Friday night. A student group at school planned a party at a local bar. It was fun going out and knowing it’s so close to being over. The only bad thing is that I now have less than 100 days to take take a midterm, take two finals, and write three papers. I’m starting to work on my Poverty Law paper, but it still seems like I have a lot to do. I also take the midterm in 3 weeks, so I need to start preparing for it. I’m hoping to start outlining today. It’ll be nice when it’s over (even if it means I have to start studying for the bar).
