Rest In Peace Dad

My dad passed away shortly after midnight tonight. He had a bad couple days. As I mentioned in the past e-mail, he was having issues with breathing, but he was feeling better. But later that evening, he started vomiting. That continued overnight and through today. We wanted to keep him home cause that is what he wanted, but his pain medication wasn’t helping and we all decided to have the ambulance take him to the ER so that he could get some pain medication to make him more comfortable. Shortly after we arrived at the hospital, he passed away.
We’re sad, but we know that he’s no longer in pain and can be at peace. Seeing him today really enforced that sentiment.

Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know that they are happy.

Oh my, I am so sorry. He fought till the very end. Now he no longer needs to suffer. He is now in a much better place.
One thing I think of… It always hurts to say goodbye to a loved one. One day, my loved ones will say goodbye to me. They will miss me and can’t wait to see me again… and I will see them. In the meantime, all the family and friends who went before me, I finally get to see them.
Your Dad is seeing those people now… and I am sure he is happy… and also happy that he can see them and loko over you and your mom.
Still, it doesn’t make missing him any less painful. My prayers for you and your family.
