May 2009 Net Worth

My net worth increased to $84,919.96 in May, for an increase of $6,742.62 for the month. Wow! That’s a huge increase. A majority of that came from my 401(k). Things have really turned around there lately. Knock on wood!
Some other good news…my Dad’s pain levels have decreased. He’s not sure if it’s due to the nerve-block or from the medication he’s taking. It could be a combination of both. I’m suspecting that the nerve-block might have stopped the pain he was feeling before, and that this new pain was always there but the other pain masked it. He’s still not 100%, but it’s definitely better than what it was. He still isn’t able to work between the pain he has and the lack of energy. They’re going to apply for Medicaid and Food Stamps today. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they’ll get approved.
