I got it!!!

Today, we had a staff meeting at work. At the beginning of the meeting, the most senior person in the room announced that there were a few promotions to announce. And guess who was named first???? Me!!! I’m so excited. I’m not sure what this means as far as salary increase, but I was really hoping to be promoted. Yeah! I guess now I’ll have something big to celebrate at the DC PF Blog Happy Hour tonight.

    I actually didn’t just get here. I was working for the same company on the same project while in NC. Last week was my 2-year anniversary. But it’s still nice. A promotion was less likely if I’d stayed in NC.
